Worship at All Saints'

Sunday Services within All Saints' Church Building

9:00am

This is a liturgical Common Worship service with songs played on a keyboard from Mission Praise. One service a month is Service of the Word and the rest are Holy Communion, so the focus is very much on word and sacrament. The service lasts one hour.

10:30am

This service is particularly aimed to meet the needs of families and it is a growing, informal, gently charismatic service with the latest and best worship songs. The service lasts for about an hour and a half and there is provision for all ages, including a creche. Once a month there is a short ‘All Age Service’, but on all the other Sunday’s there are groups for all ages from 0-18. The focus here is worship, word and prayer ministry, although we share Holy Communion together once a month.

6:30pm

Over the years this has grown as a service where our members and young people can 'go deeper with God'. It is recently a place from which we have planted two new congregations – Embassy (a fresh expression for young adults) and Engage (a youth outreach with worship). While this has reduced the number of people who now worship at 6.30pm, the service still seeks after the presence of God, focuses on worship, word, prayer, use of gifts of the Holy Spirit and prayer ministry. We also share Holy Communion together once a month.

Embassy
Embassy is a community of young adults building a fresh expression of church for both churched and non-churched people. Embassy meets from 7pm (until about 10.30pm) on the first and third Sunday of the month in the Middlehaven suite in the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough. We meet socially on every other Sunday of the month and through the week. We believe the teachings of Jesus to be as important today as the day he spoke them but recognise that church in its traditional sense can be hard to connect with and so we're trying to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and comfortable in speaking their thoughts, whatever they may be… An embassy event will have live music, multimedia, things around the room to make you think and there is a bar open! All are welcome.

More details about Embassy can be found on the Embassy website. and there is a facebook group containing our up and coming events and socials.

Engage
Engage is our youth (Year 7-13) congregation which meets 5.30pm to 7.00pm fortnightly on Wednesdays to praise and worship God and to encourage one another in our walk with Christ. Our heart is to build community with the young people whilst giving them opportunity in small groups to learn and grow in their relationship with God and each other.

We also explore different ways of 'doing church' together. We focus on being interactive, giving the young people opportunities to express themselves in different ways, discovering and maturing their spiritual gifts and in finding ways of serving other areas of church life.

Wednesday 9:30am
This is a non liturgical service of Holy Communion which includes a time of reflection, discussion and prayer. The service lasts half an hour.

Big Ted
Monthly Wednesday & Thursday 11.30
Lots of friends have lots of fun at Big Ted, we have a craft time, sing songs, have brilliant stories helped by our puppet friends. We finish with prayers then have party lunch. Could there be a better way to learn about Jesus?

Tuesday Lunch Club
Tuesday Lunch Club is an opportunity for anyone who is retired to meet others and enjoy a simple two-course meal. The format is a short service at 11:45 in church followed by lunch. After lunch there is entertainment, for example a talk, quiz or some music. Lifts can be provided if needed. Tuesday lunch is held on the second Tuesday if each month
