Life @ All Saints'

Arts & Craft Club
With an age range from 8 months to over seventy, everyone is welcome. We are a group of mainly women who meet every Wednesday afternoon, during term time, to create, chat, share and learn craft activities.

Our range of activities includes any art or craft activity you are interested in or would like to learn. There is always a supply of materials available so you do not have to bring anything with you.

We meet together to share the gifts God has given us, provide pastoral support to each other, have fun and witness to our members who do not attend church

Alpha / Journeys
To provide an on-going programme of evangelism and discipleship. We target 'Seekers' and anybody wanting to refresh their faith. The required commitment is to become part of a team for one term (approx 10-12 weeks)

Football
All Saints’ Preston on Tees and All Saints’ Eagles play in the North East Christian Fellowship League which covers Teesside - Newcastle area. We train at Egglescliffe School on Tuesday evenings 7:40pm - 9:00pm and play league/cup matches most Saturday mornings through the season.

We exist as a branch of the church where we have a core of committed Christians in the starting line up (a rule enforced by the league) which is complimented with non-church attendees who have mainly joined through friendship with some of the players.

Our aim is play football in an enjoyable and positive environment while enjoying fellowship with other Christians who love football. We also aim witness to those who are non-believers in our team, other teams and also those who come to watch on a Saturday morning.

Gardening Club
We all enjoy the beauty and wonder of gardening for pleasure. Some are very experienced some just starting.

We meet weekly (term time) to share tips and experiences, seeds, seedlings, plants and sometimes failures. We visit gardens both famous and local have had talks by experts. We discuss various trends or advice in gardening magazines and web sites.

Gardening club provides the opportunity to meet with people who share enjoyment and enthusiasm for God’s creation in gardening. We also share life’s ups and downs and enjoy “hanging out” together.

Cinema Club
We meet on the last Friday of every month to see a film at Teesside Park, normally something that starts about 7.30pm in order to enable people to get home from work and have something to eat but not have too late a night.

We watch one film per month followed by a drink at the Talpole. Some people meet for a drink only if they can’t make the film and some do the film only. We normally go and see something we all fancy which has not been out very long, normally no more than a 15 Certificate.

We are very much a social group providing an opportunity for people to see films they fancy with a chance to get to know each other over a drink afterwards. We might talk about the film but we talk about anything and everything like normal friends. We would love for you to join us and bring along your friends.

Walkers
A mainly adult group, we meet every other week to ramble in widely different countryside within an hour of All Saints’ Church.

Walks range from easy/moderate, under 5 miles, to much tougher hikes, 8-10 miles. Occasionally we have a Family Ramble which is usually just under 3 easy miles.
Twice each year we go away to rented property to be together, walking daily.

We meet like-minded people, share the good news and enjoy God’s creation.
