Kids

Crèche (0 – 3 years)

Crèche provides parents the opportunity to go back into the service with full knowledge that their children are in a safe and secure environment.

There are plenty of toys and safe equipment for the children to play with. Music is played in the background to create a gentle atmosphere.

Parents are welcome to stay with their children.

Scramblers (Ages 3 – 5 years, nursery and reception)

Scrambler children love this time learning about Jesus in a fun and exciting way.

They are nurtured and cared for within this group and given plenty of opportunity to express their creative side in most activities.

Climbers (Ages 5 – 7 years, school years 1, 2 & 3)

The teaching is from Children's Ministry material.  One topic is covered over three weeks with games, craft and leaflets to take away.

Twice a month for half and hour the children join together with Explorers and have a choice of three workshops. The aim of these workshops is to teach worship as a way of life.

Explorers (Ages 8 – 11, school years 4, 5 & 6)

Explorers are a vibrant group of children who are taught that prayer and worship is a way of life.

The teaching is from the Children's Ministry material. One topic covers over a three week period with games, craft and leaflets for them to take away.

Twice a month for half and hour the children join together with Climbers and have a choice of three workshops.  Most children love the challenge and the experience that the workshops offer.

Youth

Our Mission Statement

  • ENCOURAGE (360) - Build community between our young people, encouraging them to share life together.
  • EQUIP (ENGAGE) - Equip our young people with teaching and discipleship to strengthen their personal walk with Jesus.
  • EXPAND (SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY WORK) - Evangelise through schools work, community projects and relationships.

Our Youth Team

Our youth work leaders are Lindsay Witherow and Tim Wye, who also have a core youth team of volunteers who we work closely with to pray together, discuss ideas, and to regularly evaluate our program and to build relationships with.

Sunday Mornings

We spend time with our young people (years 7 - 13) during the service over in the youth room (across the car park!) every week except All-Age Service week.

Our times are made up of various things including teaching times, practical discipleship, ice-breakers, and monthly social times.

Schools

At Teesside High School, Lindsay runs a weekly drop in on Tuesday lunchtimes (12:30-1:30pm) and also takes some of the school assemblies.

At Egglescliffe School, Tim currently takes assemblies and runs the weekly Christian Union (called ENGAGE) for years 7-9 on Wednesday lunch times (12:30-1:15pm).
Both Lindsay and Tim also teach a weekly tutorial lesson for year 7 pupils.

360

360 takes place on Friday nights from 7pm - 9pm (term time) in All Saints’ Centre. Aimed at years 7 to 13, it is a place for young people to come and hang out after a hectic week at school or college. We aim to have loads of different stuff on offer to do during the night.

  • Girls Pamper Area (Make-up / Hair Straighteners, etc)
  • Pool / Table Tennis / Table Football
  • Air Hockey / Indoor Hockey / Games
  • Xbox / PlayStation 2 / Game Cube – Dance Mats / SingStar
  • Café Area with hot chocolate / tuck / cans
  • Chocolate fountain & freshly made doughnuts!
  • Cinema room with films / TV shows
  • Crafts – card making / jewellery making etc…

Plus many more activities

On the first Friday of each month we extend Friday nights for older members of our youth (Year 11 to 13). Recently we have stayed in the centre to watch a movie, ordered take-away and have eaten out at an American diner.

ENGAGE

Engage is our youth congregation for years 7 to 13 which meets fortnightly on Wednesday nights 5.30pm – 7.00pm to praise and worship God and to encourage one another in our walk with Christ. Our heart is to build community with the young people whilst giving them opportunity in small groups to learn and grow in their relationship with God and each other.

We also explore different ways of 'doing church' together. We focus on being interactive, giving the young people opportunities to express themselves in different ways, discovering and maturing their spiritual gifts and in finding ways of serving other areas of church life.
